IACUC Holding Form

Animal Transfer/transport forms using eprotocol system

  • Go into eAnimal Ordering and select Investigator>Animal Transfer
  • Then Select Internal Transfer
    • To transfer animals to a different PI (and a different protocol) select PI to PI
      • For PI to PI or Protocol to Protocol, select the From Protocol and To Protocol and the responsible person on each protocol.  Then fill in phone numbers and emails
    • To transfer animals to a different protocol of your own, select Protocol to Protocol
    • To just transport animals but keep them on the same protocol, select Location to Location
  • Then click New Transfer
  • Update quantity to and from should be the number of animals moving
  • Select the from location, building, and room
  • Then click on the binoculars next to Cage Cards and select all the cages that are being moved.
  • Select the To location, building, and room (where the cages/animals are going)
  • Add any special requests and hit Submit.
